Not Quite Dead, of course, refers to the legendary literature and poetry of those who have passed on -- particularly that of the marvelously macabre.  The literature, you see, continues to live. 

Here, in these pages, we will explore some of the more renowned works of primarily American and English writers.  I'm sure there will be times, however, when we may slip someone in of other extraction.
So!  Who better to begin with than Edgar Allen Poe?  Click on the picture link below to begin your journey into the mind of a master story-teller who some say teetered on the brink of insanity.  Insane, he may have been.  But that "fine line" they say that separates genius from insanity was, in Poe's case, eerily blurred.
